How

Solar-powered homes built from local soil, looked after by a local team

The homes at Kent are built with soil blocks and run on solar power: 5 kW for each home and 10 kW for the community. Water comes from local wells and a borehole. Eco-Living Oasis runs the stays and the upkeep.

  • Built by TpESTATE from site soil, with 8–10% cement
  • Solar power, with a generator for two short daily windows: Kent is not carbon neutral and we say so
  • Near Kent beach, with boats to the Banana Islands
  • The One Rice restaurant on the estate
