ABT Technology Transfer

Training, equipment and support so local builders can produce and build with soil blocks.

Solution — Delivered by TpESTATE
Why

Build local capacity, not dependency

Housing programmes need homes that last, built by people who live nearby. A method that only a visiting expert can build with does not spread. ABT Technology Transfer trains local crews and supplies block-making equipment so soil-block building can be done locally.

How

Train on site, then support the first builds

We assess the team and the site, train on site, then support the first builds. TpESTATE learned this method itself: its team trained in South Africa on the Hydraform machine, and at Kent it built a permanent, trained crew that can now train the crew for the next community.

  • An assessment of your team and site first
  • Training done on site, on real work
  • Support through the first builds
  • A method already used to build at Kent
What

Trained builders, equipment and on-site support
