How

Built by TpESTATE from the soil it stands on, run by Eco-Living Oasis

Kent's walls are pressed from site soil with 8–10% cement and no kiln. Solar power, local wells and a borehole supply the homes, and biodigesters replace septic tanks. Kent is not carbon neutral, and TpGroup publishes the gap: a generator still runs in two short daily windows.

  • 85 kW of solar: 5 kW per home and 10 kW for the community, avoiding about 47 tonnes of CO₂e a year against diesel
  • More than 500 trees and 500 flowering plants since 2021, and a shared vegetable garden that supplies the restaurant
  • A permanent, trained crew hired on day one and kept for five years
  • All doors and windows, and about 90% of the furniture, made by Sierra Leonean craftspeople
