## What is TpGroup?

TpGroup (Touchpoint Group) is a group of companies in Sierra Leone working in technology, sustainable real estate, and tourism and hospitality. Its legal name is TpGROUP (SL) Limited and it is based in Freetown.

## What does TpGroup do?

TpGroup works in three sectors. In technology it builds software, ICT infrastructure and AI services for institutions, government and business. In sustainable real estate it designs and builds eco-homes from local soil blocks and manages the estates. In tourism and hospitality it runs heritage journeys, island trips, stays and dining.

## Where is TpGroup based?

TpGroup is based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, at 13 Hill Cot Road. Its estates are at Kent, Mile-36, Lungi and Banana Island.

## When was TpGroup founded?

The group's history began in 2000, when Tamba Lamin started offering desktop publishing from his bedroom in Calaba Town with one desktop computer and a printer. Memaa Information Technology followed in 2001, SaloneTech Business Solutions in 2008, LAM-TECH Consulting Enterprises and the LAM-TECH Foundation in 2009, TpISENT in 2018, TpESTATE in 2020, and the group now operates as TpGroup.

## Who founded TpGroup?

Tamba Lamin started the group in 2000 and is its Co-Founder, Partner and Chief Executive Officer. Amadu Massally is Co-Founder, Partner and CFO of TpGroup, and founder and CEO of Fambul Tik.

## Which companies are part of TpGroup?

TpGroup has seven operating companies: TpISENT (software, infrastructure, integration and consulting), TpEMIS (university and college management software), TpLEARN (exam preparation for students), TpESTATE (eco-homes, soil blocks, design and construction), the Eco-Living Oasis (estate management, rentals and stays at Kent), FambulTik (heritage tours, boat trips and Gullah Roots) and One Rice (Rice Coast fine dining at Kent).

## Is TpGroup the same organisation as LAM-TECH, SaloneTech and TpISENT?

Yes, they are earlier and current names in the same group, led by founder Tamba Lamin. Memaa Information Technology (2001) was replaced by LAM-TECH Consulting Enterprises in Freetown in 2009. SaloneTech Business Solutions, LLC was incorporated in New York in 2008, and the LAM-TECH Foundation in New York in 2009. TpISENT (SL) Limited was incorporated in 2018, and TpESTATE in 2020. Their former websites include salonetech.com, salonetechnology.com, lamtech.sl, lamtechconsult.com, lamtechfoundation.org, tpisent.com and tpisent.sl.

## What is TpISENT?

TpISENT is TpGroup's technology company. It provides software, infrastructure, integration and consulting, and delivers products such as TpEMIS and TpLEARN as well as services such as custom applications, ICT infrastructure, cyber security and AI. TpISENT (SL) Limited was incorporated in 2018.

## What is TpEMIS?

TpEMIS is university and college management software from TpISENT. It handles admissions, registration, fees, results and records in one system, and is built for universities and colleges in Sierra Leone. TpGroup lists 10 TpEMIS institution editions, including the University of Sierra Leone, Njala University and Fourah Bay College.

## Which digital products is TpGroup launching in November 2026?

Four digital products launch in November 2026: SaloneExplorer, a virtual tour guide to Sierra Leone; TpHospitality, a property management and central reservation suite; TpEHealth, a hospital management and electronic medical records suite; and TpERP, a suite covering CRM, accounting, HR, business intelligence and supply chain.

## What is the Eco-Living Oasis at Kent?

The Eco-Living Oasis is TpGroup's vacation and residential estate at Kent in Sierra Leone. It has solar-powered eco-homes built with soil blocks, the One Rice restaurant, a beach, and boat trips to the Banana Islands. It opens on 14 November 2026.

## When does the Homecoming Tour run?

The 2026 Homecoming Tour runs from 9 to 20 November 2026. It is a 10-day guided heritage journey for the Gullah Geechee and African diaspora, run by FambulTik, and it includes the official opening of the Eco-Living Oasis on 14 November.

## What is FambulTik?

FambulTik is TpGroup's heritage tourism company. It runs heritage tours, boat trips and Gullah Roots services, and was founded and is led by Amadu Massally.

## What are ISSB blocks?

ISSB stands for interlocking stabilised soil blocks. TpESTATE makes them from local soil for faster and lower-carbon building, and uses them to build its eco-homes.

## Can people in the diaspora buy an eco-home through TpGroup?

Yes. The Diaspora Investor Package lets you buy an eco-home in a managed estate and have it let for you, with letting and maintenance, clear title and reporting included.
