Tamba Lamin has founded two businesses in Sierra Leone while in the US. He is the CEO of TpISENT an information technology company with headquarters in Freetown. His latest venture TpEstate (which employs 30 full-time employees) builds uses Hydrafoam interlocking technology to build eco-friendly detached, semi-detached, and terrace homes in Sierra Leone.
Dr. Fouad Sheriff was inspired to launch a pharmacy in Sierra Leone after he discovered the scale of the counterfeit medications market. In 2018 he launched Cotton Tree Pharmacy. Two years ago he joined forces with other doctors to open We Yone Kidney Clinic, one of the first private dialysis centers in Freetown. Today, Dr. Sheriff is building a three-story hospital on Hill Cot Road, once complete it will offer quality health care.
